Job summary

True Anomaly in Long Beach, CA is seeking an operations leader to own everyday workplace operations across our facilities. You will manage office services, culinary, janitorial, groundskeeping, and related support functions, while leading teams and trusted vendors to run a high-standard environment and an efficient OPEX picture.

You will partner with Real Estate to define landlord versus tenant work scope and with Development Planners to set long-term standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in workplace operations.
• People management experience, including developing and growing teams.
• Proven ability to own and manage a full OPEX budget, including forecasting and cost-saving identification.
• Proven ability to define and manage third-party vendor strategy across multiple service categories.
• Experience partnering with real estate on lease scope (Landlord vs. tenant responsibilities).
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable operations standards and processes.
• Track record of delivering a strong employee experience across multiple sites.
• Experience scaling a workplace operations function into new sites in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop operations teams across multiple workplaces to support ongoing day-to-day needs, including office management, culinary/snacks, janitorial, groundskeeping, and related services.
• Define and own third-party vendor strategy across all service categories, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across the portfolio.
• Own the full OPEX budget for our workplaces, forecasting vs. budget and surfacing cost-saving options.
• Partner with Real Estate to define work scope between Landlords and us.
• Partner with Development Planners to develop long-term standards that support efficiencies downstream.
• Build scalable operations standards and processes that support growth into additional sites while maintaining a strong employee experience.
• Support services within production areas as needed.
• Serve as a people leader and cross-functional partner inside and outside Facilities.
