Job summary

GITAI USA seeks a senior facilities leader to build and scale the physical infrastructure across offices, manufacturing, and test sites in Southern California. You will own site selection, permitting, and major upgrades while ensuring regulatory and security requirements are met.

This hands-on role requires navigating complex environments, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and delivering practical, cost-effective solutions to enable rapid engineering and testing for government programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in facilities, construction, or related field.
• Experience owning significant facility buildouts or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of building infrastructure (electrical power, HVAC, utilities).
• Experience navigating permits/regulatory approvals for complex facilities.
• Experience with U.S. government security requirements (cleared environments).
• Ability to turn incomplete needs into practical solutions in ambiguous environments.
• Strong commercial and execution judgment on budgets, schedules, vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define and own facility strategy across offices, manufacturing, and test sites.
• Translate needs into infrastructure decisions for space, power, HVAC, and safety.
• Lead site selection, due diligence, leases, renovations, and major upgrades.
• Navigate regulatory, permitting, and security requirements for explosive and hazardous environments.
• Coordinate with landlords, contractors, utilities, and security stakeholders.
• Walk sites, review drawings, inspect construction, and drive issue resolution.
