Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 1+ years of experience designing, analyzing, and supporting electro‑mechanical systems or mechanisms.
• Proficiency with mechanical CAD and drawing packages.
• Hands-on assembly, integration, and testing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work on-site in Torrance, CA.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for test sites and integration campaigns.
• U.S. citizen; eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical hardware from concept through test and qualification.
• Create CAD models, drawings, and hardware documentation for fabrication and testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and interfaces.
• Support fabrication, assembly, and on‑the‑shop‑floor troubleshooting.
• Plan and execute mechanical and system‑level testing; drive design improvements.
