Job summary

GITAI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own hardware from circuit design to PCB layout, bring-up, integration and test in a hands-on role. You will design, debug, and verify digital and analog circuits, and contribute deep expertise in power electronics or RF to elevate the team.

The position requires a Master’s in EE or related field, 5+ years of experience, and U.S. citizenship due to government programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on electrical hardware development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in digital and analog circuit design.
• Ability to take PCBAs from schematic to layout, bring-up, debugging and test.
• Deep expertise in power electronics, RF, FPGA-based systems, high-speed digital, or motor control.
• Proven ability to lead technical decisions and guide other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical hardware from digital/analog design through schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, integration and test.
• Lead design reviews and guide engineers across disciplines in complex electrical problems.
• Drive cross-functional decisions with mechanical, firmware, software, systems, and test teams.
• Balance trade-offs across performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective design changes during bring-up or testing.
• Push for continuous improvement of hardware design and build processes.
