Job summary

Gila County Community College is seeking a Custodian to maintain County buildings and grounds to a high level of cleanliness and functionality. You will perform a full range of custodial duties across various facilities and assist with supply inventories.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months of custodian experience, plus a valid Driver’s License. Training and clean safety standards apply in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs general custodial functions including cleaning offices, entrances, restrooms and common areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, courtrooms and kitchens.
• Monitors and documents minor repairs to lights, tables, faucets and drains.
• Assists with recycling activities and custodial supply inventories.
• May assist with painting, light maintenance and dish washing.
• Creates or edits internal memos, emails and reports.
