Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to provide enterprise leadership for our project controls function across a large, complex portfolio of integrated design-build projects for our municipal, industrial, and federal clients.

This enterprise role will establish and continuously improve governance, systems, analytics, and talent needed to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years related experience with project controls.
• PMP or PgM certification required.
• Experience with integrated design-build and other delivery models.
• Knowledge of cost, schedule, risk, and commercial controls.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance across regions.
• Lead design-build and alternative delivery approaches with pursuit and delivery teams.
• Strengthen budgeting, earned value, forecasting, and scheduling capabilities.
• Develop dashboards and predictive insights for portfolio health and risk.
• Drive modernization of platforms, data, and workflows with AI-enabled forecasting.
