Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a Vice President of Data Platform to lead the enterprise data platform, data architecture, and governance. This role oversees ingestion, transformation, and data products across multiple lines of business, enabling Digital Product, Analytics, Medical Economics, and Finance teams to derive reliable metrics and insights.

You will build scalable data pipelines, establish governance, and partner with security and legal to protect PHI while delivering data-enabled value

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical data teams.
• 7+ years of experience designing and evolving a data warehouse or enterprise data platform.
• 5+ years owning production operations for data pipelines and warehouse workloads.
• 5+ years integrating complex and heterogeneous data sources.
• 5+ years building governed data models and data products for downstream consumers.
• 3+ years establishing or operating data governance and data-quality practices.
• 5+ years partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted data products.
• Must have reliable internet and willingness to travel on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, architecture, and long-term roadmap for Strive’s enterprise data platform.
• Maintain production operations, reliability, and maintenance of warehouse ingestion across multiple data sources.
• Establish scalable data ingestion, transformation, and modeling patterns with latency, cost, and recoverability considerations.
• Enable analytics, data science, and medical economics teams to develop trusted metrics and insights.
• Lead data governance initiatives and ensure consistent protocols across the warehouse.
• Design and operate production observability and alerting for data pipelines and downstream products.
• Lead remediation of data-quality issues and manage data debt with actionable improvements.
• Recruit, develop, and retain the data organization and communicate risks and priorities to leadership.
