Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a Vice President of Data Platform to lead Strive’s enterprise data platform, architecture, and governance. This role drives end-to-end data warehouse design, ingestion, and data productization for multiple teams across the organization.

The position emphasizes building scalable, trusted data assets, leading a data-first culture, and collaborating with Digital Product, Software Engineering, Analytics, Medical Economics, and Actuarial teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering/architecture/analytics engineering.
• 8+ years leading technical data teams.
• 5+ years owning production operations for data pipelines and warehouse workloads.
• 3+ years establishing data governance and data-quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, architecture, operating model, and long-term roadmap for Strive’s enterprise data warehouse and data platform.
• Carry end-to-end accountability for reliable ingestion, hydration, and maintenance across data sources.
• Establish scalable ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and data-modeling patterns with latency, cost, and recoverability in mind.
• Build scalable processes for Analytics, Data Science, and Medical Economics teams to develop trusted metrics and insights.
• Lead data governance initiatives and ensure consistent protocols across the warehouse.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deploy reliable data products and downstream consumption.
