Job summary

TAR is building the world’s first off-grid power plant for data centers powered by renewable tech. The Head of Corporate Development will lead equity raises, debt facilities, and strategic transactions to finance and scale campus deployments based in Austin, SF, or NY.

You will own the deal lifecycle from outreach to close, structuring SPVs, negotiating PPAs, and coordinating with lenders and counsel, while traveling to sites as deals demand.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate development, investment banking, infrastructure private equity, or project finance.
• Track record as the accountable deal owner on complex transactions: capital raises, offtake, JV or M&A.
• Deep command of project finance structures: SPVs, non-recourse debt, tax credit monetization.
• Experience negotiating long-tenor commercial agreements (PPAs or similar).
• Strong modeling capability: build, audit, defend valuation and project finance models.
• Proven ability to run multiple live transactions in parallel with external counsel.
• Excellent written communication: investment memos, term sheets, board materials.

Responsibilities

• Own project equity raises for campus SPVs from outreach to close.
• Lead debt execution across construction and project-level facilities and ITC monetization, driving lenders.
• Structure and close project financing for gas generation assets alongside solar and storage campuses.
• Support the CEO on corporate equity raises, data room and investor diligence.
• Lead PPA negotiation and structuring with data center customers.
• Structure and negotiate joint ventures and partnerships with IPPs and EPC firms.
• Source, evaluate, and execute M&A across developers, land portfolios, and technology.
• Drive land acquisition and deal structuring for new campuses, forming SPVs and offtaker vehicles.
