Job summary

TAR is building the world’s first off-grid power plant for AI data centers, delivering firm power with no interconnection or gas. As Project Finance Lead, you own financing execution end to end, from term sheet through diligence, documentation, and close, managing lenders, counsels, and advisors on aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or another transaction-focused finance role.
• Experience owning significant workstreams on live transactions, from diligence through close.
• Deep financial modeling capability: independently build, audit, and pressure-test project finance models.
• Proven ability to manage external advisors and counterparty workstreams while driving transactions.
• Excellent written communication: drafting investment memos, term sheets, and board-level materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead financing execution across construction and term debt, tax equity, ITC transfer, and equipment financing, managing term sheet negotiations and lender/counsel relationships.
• Structure and document offtake and credit support arrangements, including PPAs and guarantees, impacting debt sizing and covenants.
• Build and own the live-deal models: debt sizing, DSCR waterfalls, tax equity, returns, and sensitivities.
• Manage external counsel, financial advisors, and counterparty groups, flag risks, and push resolutions on deal timelines.
• Design and stress-test capital structures across HoldCo, OpCo, SPV, including cross-collateralization and intercreditor mechanics.
• Analyze and negotiate equity-linked and warrant structures with strategic offtake or partner arrangements.
• Own investor and lender materials, from memos to board packages, codifying deal learnings into playbooks.
