Job summary

Precision Drive Systems is seeking an experienced leader to manage Electromechanical Spindle Engineering in North America. The role directs design, validation, and lifecycle management of spindle products with a focus on reliability, performance, and growth.

You will drive new platforms and collaborate across manufacturing, sales, and suppliers. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in high‑speed rotating equipment, electric motors, spindle systems, and 3D CAD, with a hands‑on leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Expertise in rotating equipment, electric motors, spindle systems, CNC machinery, automation, or precision motion products.
• Strong background in product design, reliability engineering, and manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

• Lead all spindle engineering, product design, application, and innovation activities.
• Develop new CNC, robotics, ATC, and smart spindle platforms.
• Oversee electromechanical design including motors, bearings, rotor dynamics, thermal systems, and control integration.
• Support manufacturing, sales, supplier development, quality improvement, and product commercialization.
• Establish engineering processes, KPIs, and engineered sales projects.
