Kimmel & Associates Inc. seeks a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead electrical engineering across industrial EPC projects. You will provide technical leadership, guide execution, and ensure designs meet project requirements, codes, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within industrial EPC or design-build environments.
• Ability to lead engineering teams and oversee technical execution.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, engineering standards, and applicable codes for industrial applications.
• Experience coordinating engineering activities with procurement, construction, and project management teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities for industrial EPC projects from design through execution.
• Provide technical direction on electrical systems, design standards, specifications, and deliverables.
• Manage and mentor electrical engineering personnel, fostering development and accountability.
• Coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, and other engineering disciplines for seamless execution.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, project efficiency, and technical quality.
• Support project planning, resource allocation, and technical problem-solving throughout the lifecycle.
