Job summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Director to lead major electrical scopes on industrial projects in Chandler, AZ.

You will provide senior field leadership, manage safety, budget, scheduling, and project profitability while coordinating with design teams and clients. You will oversee high- and medium-voltage systems, substations, switchgear, and control systems, ensuring compliance with NEC/NFPA standards and commissioning requirements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive industrial construction experience leading electrical scopes on large, complex projects.
• Experience with multiple contract delivery types (Lump Sum, GMP, Cost-Plus, EPC, EPCM, IPD, Progressive Design-Build, CMAR).
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NETA acceptance testing standards, IEEE/ANSI standards, and substation/gear practices.
• Experience on mission critical facilities such as data centers, mining, semiconductor, or manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel to/relocate near active project sites across the Western U.S.
• Ability to generate, review, and administer complex subcontracts and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Champion and role-model PCL's HSE culture on industrial sites with elevated hazard profiles.
• Provide field leadership for one large or several concurrent industrial projects; oversee safety, budget, quality, schedule, productivity, and profitability.
• Direct execution of high- and medium-voltage substations, distribution systems, switchgear, UPS and emergency power, and related electrical systems.
• Attend design management meetings and drive constructability reviews of equipment layouts and wiring pathways.
• Monitor design deliverables and long-lead procurements to support permits, procurement, shop drawings, and commissioning.
• Supervise and mentor electrical field personnel and coordinate QA/QC with third-party inspectors.
