Job summary

Einride Logistics Inc. is hiring its first dedicated Environmental Health & Safety leader to own the safety and regulatory compliance program end to end.

This builder's role will oversee DOT/FMCSA compliance, driver and fleet safety, and environmental compliance while writing policies, standing up systems, training people, and reporting metrics to regulators, auditors, insurers, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, transportation, logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the DOT/FMCSA compliance program across all authorities and states.
• Manage driver qualification vendor and requirements including annual MVR reviews.
• Administer Hours of Service compliance and ELD program management.
• Lead DOT drug/alcohol testing program and serve as DER.
• Manage FMCSA Clearinghouse obligations and reporting.
• Monitor CSA/SMS performance using roadside data.
• Oversee vehicle compliance records and inspections.
• Design and run the driver safety program and coaching workflow.
• Write and maintain the safety management system and training materials.
