Job summary

Northern Lights Locating & Inspections Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) to lead strategic and operational safety initiatives across 22 states and a workforce of about 600 employees.

You will shape national HSE standards, drive risk reduction, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with Operations and customers to uphold safety performance and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHMM or equivalent strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of national HSE programs across 22 states.
• Oversee regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state/local regs.
• Partner with Operations, Risk Management, and customers to align safety initiatives with business goals.
• Develop and monitor safety metrics, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage driver safety programs and fleet safety data through telematics systems.
