Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Senior Manager of Litigation Hold and eDiscovery to lead the enterprise program governing defensible preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and releases of ESI across Microsoft 365 and other data sources.

The role collaborates with Legal, Risk, IT, Records, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure audit-ready and legally defensible eDiscovery activities, drive continuous improvement, maintain integrations, safeguard chain of custody, and provide

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, legal technology, digital forensics, or related fields.
• CEDS designation from ACEDS or equivalent certification; RCA or equivalent credential preferred.
• Advanced administrator certification for leading eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity or Everlaw.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake and technical setup for cases including custodians, data sources, and search parameters.
• Administer the complete legal-hold lifecycle: notices, acknowledgments, reminders, and releases.
• Oversee preservation across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other sources.
• Perform defensible identification and collection of ESI using approved tools and APIs.
• Lead collection QA, integrity checks, and documented sign-off.
• Manage ingestion, processing, indexing, search, review workspaces, and productions.
• Maintain platform configuration, upgrades, audit logs, and access controls.
• Design integrations with Purview, Entra ID, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop PowerShell/API-driven controls for repeatable administration and reconciliation.
• Conduct periodic hold reconciliations and quality checks with stakeholders.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, data maps, and matter closeout documentation.
• Create executive reporting on matter status, holdings, and production metrics.
• Coordinate secure transfer of ESI to authorized recipients with encryption and logging.
