Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP seeks a Director of Enterprise Records Disposition eDiscovery to own retention and defensible destruction, plus hold and eDiscovery programs. You will lead a cross-functional team across Legal, Risk, and Technology to ensure compliant, auditable information governance.

The role partners with legal leadership to align information governance with business and client obligations, driving strategy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise records retention and disposition programs.
• Direct accountability for records disposition and litigation hold processes.
• Leadership of specialist practitioners with defined service levels.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and roadmap for retention, disposition, defensible destruction, holds, and eDiscovery.
• Maintain policy sets, decision rights, thresholds, SLAs, and accountability.
• Build legally validated retention schedules with owners, jurisdictions, and triggers.
• Oversee hold and eDiscovery processes with reproducible audit trails.
• Report performance against SLAs and elevate gaps to executives.
• Own the technology estate, configurations, and vendor performance.
