Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Supply Chain Health System Linen Director who will provide enterprise leadership for the strategy, standardization, and performance of linen and laundry services across the health system.

You will design end-to-end linen workflows that support patient safety, regulatory readiness, and a consistent patient and colleague experience, partnering with clinical, operational, and supply chain teams to optimize utilization and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years progressive healthcare linen services experience.
• Minimum 10 years leadership experience.
• Ability to lead enterprise-wide standardization and change in a matrixed healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of linen workflows and regulatory readiness.
• Proven vendor performance management using KPIs and SLAs.
• Analytical skills to interpret utilization, PAR levels, losses and variances.
• Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, invoice validation, cost optimization.
• Excellent communication and training material development.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads enterprise linen strategy, standards, and governance for reliable, safe, and consistent linen services across settings.
• Develops standardized workflows for linen handling, storage, distribution, and replenishment with infection prevention and regulatory alignment.
• Leads cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption of best practices and linen stewardship accountability.
• Leads and develops linen site leaders/managers through goal setting and coaching.
• Partners with Strategic Sourcing to support contract strategy and monitor supplier performance.
• Directs performance management activities including validation, utilization reviews, loss prevention, and root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Owns linen program financial management including budgeting, forecasting, invoice review, variance analysis, and cost optimization.
• Leads implementation and optimization of linen-related technology to improve inventory accuracy, visibility and efficiency.
• Ensures readiness for audits by maintaining documentation, training, and controls related to linen processes and safety.
