Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Division Safety Director to drive safety culture across multiple job sites. You will set policies, lead incident investigations, and align safety with corporate goals. This role demands extensive regulatory knowledge and strong leadership across division teams.

You will develop and monitor safety KPIs, manage resources, and collaborate with HR, risk, and field leadership to ensure compliant, proactive safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• OSHA 10/30/40 training required; OSHA 500 and CHST desired.
• CSP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all safety program management across multiple sites.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to improve safety performance.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with HR, risk, and insurance teams on safety issues.
• Manage division safety personnel and subcontractors.
