Job summary

Walmart Distribution Center in Waipahu, HI is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-performing operation delivering products to customers and stores safely and efficiently. You will drive operational excellence, develop talented leaders, and serve as a key representative of Walmart in the community.

You will set and execute the facility business plan, manage staffing and budgets, ensure safety and quality standards, and collaborate with stores, merchants, and supply chain partners to resolve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
• 3 years in a senior management role within operations/distribution/logistics/retail, supervising and developing managers/supervisors; OR 2 years as Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager; OR 5 years in a senior management role supervising and developing associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility business plan to achieve goals related to productivity, quality, safety, service, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee staffing strategies to ensure the facility is appropriately staffed to meet current and future demands.
• Manage facility financial performance by monitoring budgets, expenses, asset utilization, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards through policies and best practices.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by investigating issues and driving outcomes.
• Develop leaders by coaching performance, supporting talent development, and participating in hiring and promotions.
• Work cross-functionally with store operators, merchants, replenishment, and supply chain providers to resolve issues and lead recovery efforts.
