Job summary

Compass Community Living in Redlands, CA, is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead the community's food & beverage operations, ensuring resident and client satisfaction while meeting financial goals and fostering a positive work environment.

You will design and implement departmental strategies, oversee safety and sanitation programs, manage budgets and vendor relations, and serve as the on-site face of the company, driving service excellence across the operation.

Qualifications

• B.S./A.A. degree requirements or equivalent experience.
• Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, cost controls and presentation.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall operating strategy aligned with Compass Community Living and client business strategy.
• Lead on-site leadership team to deliver best-in-class hospitality.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Ensure regular communication with residents, staff and departments.
• Manage budgets, wages, and food & beverage costs to meet financial goals.
• Build strong relationships with residents and clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Hire, train and retain a high-performing dining services team.
