Job summary

Morrison Living is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead the community’s food and beverage/culinary operation, ensuring resident and client satisfaction with a best-in-class hospitality standard. You will drive strategy, financial performance, and a positive work culture while representing Compass Community Living on-site.

The role requires strong P&L understanding, team leadership, and the ability to translate client needs into exceptional dining experiences across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred.
• Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, e-mail, and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operating strategy aligned with Compass Community Living and client business strategy.
• Own on-site leadership and ensure staff demonstrates desired service behaviors.
• Direct and manage food & beverage operations ensuring high-quality service and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee budgeting, wage costs, food & beverage cost controls, and financial performance.
