Job summary

Manscaped, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Manager, Digital Technology Development to lead a global team delivering the DTC platform (Shopify Plus storefront, headless web, Node.js middleware) and cloud infrastructure.

This technical manager role blends coding with people leadership, backlog ownership, budget awareness, and vendor partnerships. You will balance coding with leadership, reviewing PRs, setting engineering standards, and driving features while collaborating with Product, DTC, Marketing,

Qualifications

8+ years as a full‑stack engineer in e‑commerce or web platforms.
2+ years leading developers (onshore and offshore).
Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript, REST/GraphQL.
Frontend expertise with React/Next.js; performance/SEO focus.

Responsibilities

Lead onshore/offshore development teams; manage backlog and priorities.
Define code review standards; ensure testing, CI/CD, and secure coding.
Contribute 20–30% in development and deployment activities; build SDKs for onboarding.
Ensure production reliability; triage alerts with Site Reliability, QA, and Cybersecurity.
Manage vendor relationships and cross‑functional partnership with Product, Marketing, and Legal.
