MANSCAPED is seeking a hands-on, full‑stack Manager, Digital Technology Development to lead a distributed team building and running the D2C platform: Shopify Plus storefront, headless web, Node.js middleware, and cloud infra.

The role blends coding with leadership: owning backlog, setting engineering standards, guiding features, and partnering with Product, DTC, Marketing, and Cybersecurity to ensure strong performance and reliability. Remote work is supported from the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a full-stack engineer building customer-facing e-commerce platforms
• 2+ years leading developers (onshore/offshore) while remaining hands-on
• Backend: Node.js/TypeScript REST/GraphQL, relational DBs
• Frontend: React/Next.js for consumer storefronts, SEO performance
• Cloud: production workloads on GCP/Azure, IaC, CI/CD, cost management
• Shopify Plus: Admin/Storefront APIs, checkout, multi-market setups
• Experience managing third-party consultancies and driving code delivery
• Production ownership: incident response, on-call, availability during peak periods

Responsabilités

• Identify and prioritize quarterly, bi-annual, and year-end goals and initiatives
• Lead developers to manage backlog, capacity planning, and change management
• Define and enforce code quality, testing, CI/CD, secure coding standards
• Participate in development and deployment activities, build features and SDKs
• Champion site reliability and cybersecurity, manage alerts and priorities
• Track KPIs: availability, checkout health, deployment metrics
• Participate in scrums, backlog grooming, and cross-team syncs
• Hire, onboard, and develop Digital Technology staff, including offshore resources
• Manage external vendor relationships and onboarding/offboarding processes
• Determine internal vs external resource mix with leadership
• Engage with vendors like Shopify, Ordergroove, Kount for critical SaaS
• Collaborate with architect on designs and roadmap for the stack
• Build and maintain relationships with internal clients and external partners
• Ensure secure development practices and vulnerability management
• Plan and facilitate face-to-face meetings to promote team cohesion
