Job summary

Storm4 is seeking a Head of Development to own the data center portfolio from site strategy to customer delivery. You will drive growth, engage with the CEO and founders, and shape the company’s strategic direction in AI infrastructure.

You will lead complex programs, manage budgets, and build scalable teams across national markets while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with utilities, authorities, and customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering large-scale data center or infrastructure projects.
• Experience taking projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Strong commercial acumen with contract, vendor, and partnerships negotiations.
• Deep understanding of power infrastructure and development processes.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets, schedules, contractors, and customer commitments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset in a high-growth environment.
• Proven track record balancing speed, cost, quality and execution.
• Executive ownership and equity opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and delivery of AI and data center infrastructure projects.
• Drive site selection, utility strategy, permitting, entitlement, and infrastructure planning.
• Oversee project execution from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Develop relationships with utilities, municipalities, engineering partners, contractors, and customers.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support customer discussions.
• Build scalable development processes, teams, and delivery capabilities.
• Partner with executive leadership on growth strategy, capital deployment, and market expansion.
• Shape innovative AI infrastructure platforms.
