Job summary

BioSpace seeks an Executive Director of Data Management & Architecture to lead a unified data function within Global Development IT. This role defines strategy for data platforms, AI architecture, and governance, aligning with enterprise standards and securing scalable data capabilities.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Development IT, the role collaborates across Enterprise Data & AI, Enterprise Architecture, and Information Security to advance data priorities and enable business

Qualifications

• 17+ years of experience in product ownership or management roles, focusing on enterprise platforms, PPM tools, TBM frameworks, and financial-based systems.
• Experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences industry strongly preferred.
• Track record leading organizational integration or restructuring of technical functions.

Responsibilities

• Own data management and architecture for Global Development IT, collaborating with Enterprise Data & AI, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, and business leadership.
• Lead the unified Data Management & Enablement function and consolidate data delivery and architecture.
• Define data platforms and standards, moving toward a centralized data repository.
• Build and scale a data engineering and analytics team, including India-based GCC collaboration.
• Serve as Global Development's data and AI architecture authority and ensure scalable, compliant designs.
