Job summary

Rula is a remote-first company hiring across most U.S. states (excluding Hawaii). As Head of Data Science, you will lead a team of analysts and data scientists to design experiments, analyze product performance, and shape product decisions that impact hundreds of thousands of users seeking care.

You will partner with Product, Eng, and Research to align analytics with business strategy, drive revenue growth, and foster a data-driven culture across a remote-first organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience with data
• Bachelor degree in a quantitative field like Data Science, Economics, CS or Statistics
• 5+ years in data analytics or data science supporting multiple business areas
• Strong people management and teamwork abilities
• Ability to translate findings to non-technical stakeholders and tell a story
• Experience with statistical analysis and A/B testing
• Understanding of product analytics metrics and marketplace balance

Responsibilities

• Lead analyses to develop product features addressing key consumer pain points
• Guide analysts and drive your own projects in a player-coach role
• Collaborate with Product, Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers
• Contribute to product planning and experiment design
• Translate complex findings into actionable product insights
