Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Director of Data Platform and Products to own the enterprise data platform and product portfolio. You will design, build, and operate scalable, secure data assets and self-service analytics that power analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives across the organization.

You will lead a team of product managers, data engineers, and governance professionals, guiding architecture, governance, and cost efficiency while partnering with AI and product leaders to maximize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field required.
• Master’s or Advanced degree preferred.
• Product management training or certification a plus.
• Minimum 11 years of experience in data product management, data platforms, analytics, or related roles.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform and product strategy and multi-year roadmap, including lakes, warehouses, pipelines and self-service analytics.
• Lead the design, delivery and improvement of enterprise data products and supporting platforms.
• Enforce enterprise data governance with data quality, metadata, stewardship, access controls and compliance.
