Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a visionary VP, Data Center Solutions to shape and execute a global data center strategy that aligns with the Fusion 30 plan. You will drive revenue, profitability, and market leadership in North America while guiding acquisitions and integration efforts across the organization.

The role requires deep market insight, exceptional leadership, and the ability to build a high-performing team across geographies, with significant travel and stakeholder engagement at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• 10+ years managing vertical markets; including 5+ years people leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Data Center market experience.
• Demonstrated success leading cross functional strategies resulting in sales growth and positive customer satisfaction scores.
• Commercial building industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Center solution strategy from organization assessment through creation, alignment and execution.
• Deliver annual operating plans - revenues and operating income.
• Build the Data Center Solutions team and acquire, develop, engage and retain talent.
• Define and measure KPIs to assess data center operations and adjust as needed.
• Partner with finance to develop business cases and support budgeting or forecasting.
