Job summary

Edged is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team of facility technicians across data-center operations. You will drive uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with IT, Projects, and business stakeholders to meet performance targets.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with CMMS/BMS, and the ability to manage high-availability environments. On-site presence with flexible hours, weekends, and on-call rotations is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years in data center/mission-critical environments.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.
• Experience with CMMS, BMS, and monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to lead teams under pressure in high-availability settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of facility technicians to high performance and growth.
• Oversee shift coverage, assignments, and resource allocation for site readiness.
• Conduct performance evaluations and career development for direct reports.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and teamwork across operations.
• Escalate issues to the Site Operations Manager and drive timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop maintenance plans, schedules, and capacity forecasts.
• Provide regular operations updates to leadership.
