Job summary

Fuego Leads, a technology-driven health insurance company, seeks a Director of Data & Analytics to own the end-to-end data architecture, governance, and AI-driven analytics platform. You’ll lead a small team, work closely with executives, marketing, and engineering to translate data into strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes a hands-on approach to building the data layer, identity resolution, and multi-touch attribution while evolving the stack from reporting to operations-level insight.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data and analytics, owning the design of a production warehouse and transformation layer.
• Expert SQL and production Python with pipelines and automation.
• dbt or similar transformation framework with version control and testing.
• Experience running a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery preferred).
• Models deployed with monitoring and retraining.
• Multi-touch attribution and identity resolution across systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data architecture and roadmap for the data layer used by executive decisions and AI systems.
• Define core metrics (lead, contact, conversion, CAC, LTV) and assign ownership.
• Develop a certified core layer in BigQuery covering lead lifecycle and activity.
• Create an enterprise data layer retrievable by AI/LLM applications, with clean lineage.
