Job summary

Fuego Leads seeks a Director of Data & Analytics to own the end‑to‑end data layer, architecture, models, and roadmap. You will build hands‑on with SQL Server/BigQuery, drive governance, and enable executive decision‑making through trusted data across channels.

You’ll manage a small team, report to the COO, and collaborate with marketing and engineering to advance the data platform and AI initiatives. This role can be remote within the US or hybrid from multiple metro locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data and analytics and ownership of a production warehouse and transformation layer.
• Expert SQL and production Python with pipelines and automation.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation framework.
• Cloud warehouse management in production; BigQuery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own core metric definitions and governance for lead, contact, conversion, and CAC/LTV.
• Build a certified data layer in BigQuery covering lifecycle and spend with exec reporting.
• Define target-state data architecture and roadmap across sources and warehouse.
• Lead multi-touch attribution and identity resolution across systems.
• Bring AI tooling into delivery and demonstrate practical model use.
• Collaborate with exec, marketing, and engineering to translate data into decisions.
• Own the data layer retrieved by AI/LLM applications and ensure quality.
• Prototype quickly and scale, managing scope rather than headcount.
