Job summary

Greenbrook Medical is seeking a Director of Data Engineering and Analytics in New York City with hybrid work options. You will own the data platform, build the analytics layer, and grow a data team from the ground up to improve care outcomes. You’ll work closely with care teams and leadership to translate data into actionable insights.

You will be hands-on, writing production data code daily, and drive end-to-end data strategy from platform creation to metric delivery and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL, dbt, and Python with production code experience.
• Hands-on healthcare data experience including claims, eligibility, EHR data.
• Knowledge of value-based care measurements like HEDIS/Stars.
• Ability to translate data findings for clinical and business leaders.
• Experience owning production systems and data roadmaps, with hiring experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Analytics Layer, dbt models, and business logic for metrics.
• Own production systems, ensure uptime, monitor ingestion pipelines.
• Develop reporting and dashboards used by the business for decisions.
• Build the data roadmap and hire/train the data team.
