Payer Sciences, part of Publicis Health North America, seeks an Associate Director, Data Engineering to help build and maintain data infrastructure supporting analytics and market access strategies for pharma clients. Hybrid role based in Morristown, NJ, with options for New York City, Chicago or Philadelphia.

You will help develop data pipelines, work with large healthcare datasets, and partner with Analytics and Strategy teams to ensure data is accessible, accurate and analysis-ready, while

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python or R.
• Foundational exposure to cloud platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure), ETL/ELT tools, APIs, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, build, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Assist in ingesting and integrating claims, coverage, SP/HUB, contracting, and other third-party data sets.
• Implement and follow data quality controls, governance, and security protocols.
• Contribute to documentation of data schemas, transformations, and workflows.
• Partner with Data Analysts and Strategists to understand data requirements and provide curated datasets.
