Job summary

Prominent is hiring a Data & Analytics Manager for our partner in the transportation and logistics industry. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for owning the organization's data function, including data engineering, analytics, reporting, governance, and master data management.

You'll lead a team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and DBAs while driving key initiatives such as enterprise data warehousing, Snowflake modernization, Power BI reporting, and data governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, warehousing, analytics, or DBA.
• 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Power BI, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and DBAs
• Drive enterprise data warehouse initiatives using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory
• Partner closely with software development and business teams
• Lead reporting modernization efforts, including Power BI adoption
• Own data governance, data quality, and master data management practices
• Establish standards for data integration, ELT pipelines, and SDLC processes
• Support critical customer-facing reporting and data services
• Manage vendor relationships, offshore resources, and department budgets
• Introduce AI tools and automation to improve team productivity and delivery
