City of East Point seeks a senior executive to direct the Customer Care Department, oversee monthly utility billing, and ensure accurate revenue collection. The role shapes policy, improves operations, and enhances public and business community service.

Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities include budgeting, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, marketing of utility services, and providing timely resolutions to escalated inquiries while maintaining city-wide service quality.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or related field; supplemented by seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible supervisory/management experience in customer service to include utility billing experience preferably within a similar government setting.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, organizes, and implements Customer Care goals and coordinates activities toward achievement of goals; develops and implements division policies.
• Develops, implements and controls departmental budget; monitors revenues and expenditures within budgetary parameters.
• Directs, supervises, trains, and evaluates management and staff; handles recruitment, discipline, performance and training.
