Job summary

CA Financial Appointments is seeking a Creditors Manager to lead the creditors function within a fast-paced logistics operation. You will manage a team of clerks, drive process improvements, and maintain strong relationships with transporters to ensure timely payments.

The role focuses on team leadership, HR responsibilities, and monthly reconciliations, while upholding internal controls and standards. This is an on-site position with growth potential in a dynamic finance team.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience leading a creditors or accounts payable team, preferably in transport or logistics.
• Proficiency with Acumatica and Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating, and developing the creditors team to hit departmental goals.
• Managing HR responsibilities including performance management, recruitment, and disciplinary processes.
• Providing training and handling grievances or conflict resolution.
• Reporting weekly to the Finance Manager on outstanding queries, staffing, and new starters.
• Building and maintaining relationships with transporters, including onboarding and regular check-ins.
• Reviewing creditor reconciliations monthly and uploading approved payments to the accounting system.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to automate and improve creditors processes.
