Job summary

The UC Davis Stores is seeking a Procurement Supervisor 1 to lead the Course Materials operations. You will oversee budgeted ~$15 million in annual sales, supervise staff, and build relationships with faculty to implement course materials initiatives and edtech solutions.

Responsibilities include academic resource management, campus outreach, and ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, and contract negotiation with publishers. This is an on-site, 100% position in Davis, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a retail environment and training others to do the same.
• Knowledge of retail management principles including accounting, purchasing, markup, margins, terms, freight, inventory, and receiving.
