Job summary

Follett Higher Education seeks a Course Materials Campus Lead to manage a single in-store course materials department, guiding staff and ensuring timely availability of materials. You will interface with faculty, students, and publishers to handle adoptions, selections, and buybacks while driving sales and controlling costs.

You will apply system knowledge across Follett platforms to execute programs, maintain policy compliance, and partner with support teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of textbook experience with progressively more complex responsibilities, including 1-3 years of retail supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer literacy and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Supports course materials department team members by assigning, evaluating, and training staff as directed.
• Collaborates on staffing levels, schedules, and calendar planning with store manager and CM leadership.
• Guides customers and department staff on course materials buying decisions (new, used, rental, digital) and oversees special orders.
• Engages with faculty, department chairs, and administration to address material issues and strategy development.
• Analyzes buyback trends, enrollment figures, and adoptions to inform order quantities and inventory management.
• Sources course materials from students, wholesalers, distributors, and publishers; coordinates with publishers and Follett partners.
• Oversees invoicing, packing, shipping, and ensures accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
