Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Seattle is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Cost Management and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management across a portfolio of client accounts and capital projects in the Pacific Northwest.

You will oversee complex commercial real estate, infrastructure, and other large programs while driving excellence in client service, commercial management, and project delivery, and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
• RICS certification or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cost management team and ensure delivery of all accountabilities.
• Interface with client, stakeholders and consultants at all project stages.
• Maintain excellent communication with client(s) and other consultants.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain reporting on project financials, KPI tracking and risk mitigation.
