Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a skilled Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our Seattle team and deliver construction cost management across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will support multiple client accounts, providing expertise on real estate, infrastructure, and large-scale capital programs in the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on strategies and prequalifications, manage vendor bidding and interviews, and present recommendations.
Develop project estimates for construction costs, fees, and direct work, review junior team estimates and provide value engineering input.
Establish cost reporting schedules and maintain risk registers, present forecasts to clients, and lead cost-related meetings.
Oversee cost control, review payment applications, and manage change orders to protect client interests.
Monitor invoicing, benchmark performance, and conduct post-contract reviews and training material creation.
