Job summary

Field Nation seeks a Head of Corporate Development to lead the end-to-end M&A function, from origination to integration. You will build the pipeline, evaluate opportunities, and drive negotiations in close partnership with Legal and Finance.

You will own financial models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions), develop defensible investment cases, and coordinate due diligence with external advisors, ensuring post-close performance.

Qualifications

• 7-12+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Advanced financial modeling skills (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
• Proven track record structuring and closing transactions.
• Experience building or scaling a corporate development function from an individual-contributor role.

Responsibilities

• Market Thesis & Target Origination: translate strategic priorities into acquisition criteria and maintain target databases.
• Financial Analysis & Valuation: build and maintain models; develop defendable investment cases; lead due diligence.
• Post-Close Integration & Performance Tracking: monitor performance and refine integration playbooks.
• Lead negotiation of transaction terms with Legal and Finance; prepare materials for boards and investment committees.
