Job summary

Fandom is seeking a Corporate Development Director to lead the end-to-end M&A lifecycle on-site in the United States. You will partner with our CFO/COO and private equity investor to source, evaluate, structure and close acquisitions and strategic partnerships that drive growth for our gaming and entertainment platform.

You will build financial models, conduct due diligence, prepare board materials and support post‑deal integration, while tracking industry trends and targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in investment banking and 3+ years in corporate development or private equity.
• Expertise in building financial and valuation models.
• Experience with M&A transactions of varying sizes and complexities.
• Strong Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides skills; comfortable using AI tools to support workflows and modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with CFO/COO on deal sourcing, initial rationale, financial modeling, due diligence and closing activities.
• Assist during M&A integration periods.
• Analyze industry trends to identify potential targets.
• Develop industry landscapes and competitive analyses for executive review.
• Direct diligence between internal and external parties and prepare board materials.
• Manage data room and distribute materials; be primary point of contact for diligence.
• Independently build financial models and forecasts for acquisitions.
• Create low/base/high scenario analyses and translate business models into operating models.
