Plaid Inc. is seeking a Head of Corporate Development to shape inorganic growth and lead build-vs-buy decisions. You will report to the CFO and partner with Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering, and GTM to source, evaluate, and close strategic opportunities that extend Plaid's product and market position.

You will own end-to-end deal execution, diligence, and post-close integration while developing senior‑level materials for the Board and executives. Prior fintech/tech experience is required.

Competenze

• 12+ years across Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development or Management Consulting with PE diligence focus.
• Deep, hands-on experience evaluating and executing deals end-to-end.
• Proven track record managing multiple complex deals from inception through post-close integration.
• Strong analytical rigor and business judgment with executive-level communication.

• Build and own a proactive pipeline of acquisition and investment opportunities aligned to Plaid's priorities.
• Nurture a network of founders, executives, and investors to source proprietary deal flow.
• Develop well-researched views on adjacent categories and key competitors.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution: valuation, modeling, due diligence, negotiation, closing.
• Partner on integration plans and track milestones post-close.
• Engage Product, Engineering, and GTM to sharpen Plaid's strategic interests.
• Prepare board- and executive-ready materials on market landscape, pipeline and diligence findings.
