Plaid is at the forefront of enabling financial connections for developers and consumers. The Corporate Development function drives inorganic growth by evaluating and executing M&A and investment opportunities that extend Plaid's product, technology, and market position.

As Head of Corporate Development you will report directly to the CFO and guide build-vs-buy decisions, partnering with the Executive team to source, evaluate, and close strategic deals.

Competenze

• 12+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development or Management Consulting.
• Hands-on experience evaluating and executing deals end-to-end.
• Experience managing multiple complex deals from inception to post-close.
• Strong analytical rigor paired with sound business judgment.
• Builder mindset with ability to create repeatable processes.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication; able to engage senior stakeholders.
• Technology industry experience; fintech or financial services experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Build and own a proactive pipeline of acquisition and investment opportunities aligned to Plaid's strategic priorities and maintain an up-to-date view of the landscape.
• Outbound relationship building with founders, executives, and investors to source proprietary deal flow.
• Develop well-researched perspectives on adjacent categories and competitors to inform strategy.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution: valuation, financial modeling, diligence coordination, negotiation, and structuring with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, People to integrate acquisitions and set milestones.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and GTM to align opportunities with Plaid's strategic interests.
• Prepare board- and executive-ready materials on market landscape, deal pipeline, assessment, and integration progress.
