JP Morgan Chase is seeking a Conversational Design Lead, Vice President, to shape the speech, reasoning, and action of our AI assistant used by 300,000+ employees. You will build and lead a team of conversational designers, setting standards for agentic interactions and partnering across design, product, and engineering to deliver trustworthy, inclusive experiences at scale.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in conversation design or related UX with people leadership.
• Hands-on experience designing conversational experiences, deterministic and generative.
• Ability to create visual representations of user journeys (storyboards, wireframes, prototypes).
• Inclusive design and accessibility guidelines embedding diverse perspectives.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of conversational designers.
• Set vision and strategy for conversational and agentic experiences across self-service journeys.
• Evolve the assistant's voice, tone and personality, and the guidelines that keep them consistent.
• Own the standards for dialogue design, prompt and system behavior design, error handling and handoffs.
• Partner with product design to co-own the agentic design system for coherent experiences.
• Diagram flows, wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints in end-to-end design initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering on production behavior, prompts, guardrails, retrieval and tool use.
• Continuously test and refine prompts, system instructions, and plugin/tool configurations.
• Establish quality and evaluation practices for AI responses and continuous improvement.
• Drive inclusive design practices and mentor junior designers.
• Represent conversational design with senior stakeholders, communicating decisions clearly.
