Job summary

Thor is seeking a Data Center Controls Manager, Operations to standardize BMS, EPMS and DCIM across multiple sites in a founder-led hyperscale platform. You will own performance, reliability and development while guiding controls governance and testing from startup through turnover.

The role is remote in the United States with 30–50% travel. Base pay ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 plus a 30% target bonus, a fully vested 4% 401(k) match and 100% of insurance premiums paid.

Qualifications

• Deep BMS, EPMS and DCIM experience in live critical environments.
• Proven track record leading controls engineering and setting standards.
• Ability to read sequences of operation and detect issues.
• Background with an owner-operator, a hyperscaler, or a controls specialist.
• Habit of using trend, alarm and power utilization data to find automation gains.

Responsibilities

• Own controls governance: standards, change management, MOPs and test procedures.
• Own and develop controls across multiple facilities; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Review controls designs, sequences of operation, network architecture, points lists and submittals.
• Validate performance through startup and turnover, ensuring the operations voice is heard during handover.
• Report into operations controls leadership and collaborate with Design Controls Engineering.
