Amazon is seeking an experienced Controls Manager to lead the deployment and service of BMS/EPMS systems in data centers. You will manage a skilled, possibly remote team, align building controls with business goals, and drive projects from planning through commissioning.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across electrical, mechanical, and IT disciplines, with a focus on structured project execution, vendor management, and schedule adherence in a mission-critical environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering science, plus 8+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 12+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, leading, and coaching teams of controls professionals.
• 4+ years of experience in controls management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience (RFPs, bidding, change orders, QC, RFIs) associated with controls and project execution.
• 3+ years of experience managing deployment of complex electrical and mechanical controls systems, including power distribution, cooling, and associated infrastructure.
• 4+ years of experience developing, monitoring, and maintaining critical path master and micro project schedules for complex large-scale mission-critical projects.
• Experience working with cross-function teams to deliver complex construction projects.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and track team goals; report status to leadership.
• Develop launch plans for new hires and identify team needs.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot BMS/EPMS or industrial controls systems.
• Read electrical/control diagrams and translate specs into work plans.
• Develop drawings for control panels, power distribution, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate internal and external project activities to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
