Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Head of Contract Management for Hub North America within the Grid Automation Business Unit. This role leads the contract lifecycle across tendering, negotiation, project execution, claims management, dispute resolution, and closeout to enable reliable delivery of complex energy, infrastructure, software, and data center projects.

You will collaborate with Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Risk, Legal, Finance, Engineering and other teams to

Qualifications

• University degree in Law or equivalent; legal education preferred.
• Seven+ years of contract management experience.
• Experience with complex technology, energy, or EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Contract Management strategy.
• Lead the Contract Management organization and ensure consistent methodologies.
• Review tender and contract documentation for obligations, risks and opportunities.
• Support tendering and sales with compliant proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and partners.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and financial risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide CM support during project execution, including claims and dispute resolution.
• Coach CM professionals and promote knowledge sharing and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations.
