Cantina, a new social platform led by Sean Parker, seeks a Head of Content to build Cantina Labs’ content engine. You’ll recruit and lead a network of 100 content producers and editors, creating 75+ niche programs and high-volume social videos with AI-driven workflows.

You’ll write briefs, scripts, and briefs daily, pitch ideas, and collaborate with product to evolve features. Compensation reflects senior leadership and equity potential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large social content teams (100+ producers/editors).
• Proven ability to recruit and manage a 20+ creator operation.
• Demonstrated viral content success, especially on X.
• Excellent narrative and scripting for briefs, scripts, and social copy.
• Hands-on video editing, motion graphics, and AI-driven workflows.
• Ability to own multiple niches with distinct formats and audiences.
• Strong project leadership and production cadence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define multichannel social content strategy focused on viral formats and platform-specific needs.
• Turn new features into launches, tutorials, showcases, recurring series, and shareable content.
• Build a content program across 75+ niches with creator outreach and audience insights.
• Recruit and manage a network of 100 content producers/editors with clear briefs and processes.
• Pitch ideas daily, write scripts/briefs, create example videos, and edit for strong hooks.
• Develop workflows for AI generation, editing, motion graphics, review, and publishing cadence.
• Partner with product to incorporate creator feedback into development and roadmap.
• Track metrics like reach, retention, shares, signups, and activation to optimize content.
